Corrugated paper lily in a pot. How to make a lily from corrugated paper with your own hands step by step

The following materials will be required:

White corrugated paper.

Green corrugated paper.

Salad corrugated paper.

Orange semolina.

Salad oil pastel.

Pink oil pastel.

Pink dry pastel.

Black acrylic paint.

Lurex thread.

A piece of cable 00.6 cm and 30 cm long - 1 piece

Pieces of wire 00.5 mm and 20 cm long each - 18 pcs.

Pieces of wire 00.5 mm and 15 cm long each - 4 pcs.

Pieces of wire 00.5 mm and 8 cm long each - 27 pcs.

Cut a strip 1.5 cm wide from the edge of a roll of corrugated salad paper.

We twist 2 pieces of wire 8 cm long. We glue this part obliquely with a strip of lettuce corrugated paper - this is a part of the lily pistil. Bend the edge of the piece, 1 cm long, to form a loop.

We make a rope from a strip of lettuce corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide and cut a piece 2 cm long from it.

After this, glue the resulting piece crosswise to the loop of the lily pistil part. Then we glue a strip of corrugated salad paper 1.5 cm wide to the base of the loop. This will be the pistil of the lily.

Taking 5 pieces of wire 8 cm long, we obliquely glue these parts with strips of lettuce corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide. The resulting parts are the stamens of a lily. Now bend one edge of the 1 cm long parts at an angle of 90°.

After smearing glue on the bent edges of the stamen parts, dip them in orange semolina. The result was stamens.

We glue the lower edges of the lily stamens to the lower edge of the pistil so that the upper edges of the stamens stick out in different directions. We wrap the junction of the parts with lurex thread and tie the ends of the thread. Next, glue a strip of lettuce corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide to the fixed thread. The result is the middle.

Now, in accordance with the diagram, we cut out 6 petals from white corrugated paper, 8.6 cm long and 3.5 cm wide (we cut out the details across the “waves” of the paper). We paint them on one side with oil pastels: pink pastels along the entire length of the petal, and lettuce pastels along the middle line (to make a lettuce line 2.8 cm long).

By stretching the edges of the petals, we increase their length by 1 cm.

From the edges of the rolls of white and green corrugated paper, cut a strip 1.5 cm wide.

We glue strips of white and green corrugated paper obliquely over 6 pieces of wire 20 cm long: 7 cm of each piece of wire is glued with a white strip, and 13 cm with a green strip. These are the details of the peduncle.

Glue the white edges of the pedicel parts to the unpainted sides of the lily petals, as shown in the photo.

Glue 3 petals with pedicel details to the base of the center. We wrap Lurex thread around the junction of these parts, tying the ends of the thread (the colored sides of the petals should be on the inside). These will be the petals of the 1st row.

After this, we similarly attach 3 petals of the 2nd row to the lily petals of the 1st row so that the petals of the 1st and 2nd rows are staggered. We wrap all the parts of the peduncle obliquely with a strip of green corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide. This will be the peduncle of the flower.

We bend the lily petals outward. Using a brush, apply pink dry pastel to the petals.

We draw dots on the lily petals with black acrylic paint, as shown in the photo. The result is a flower with a peduncle. Then we make 2 more flowers with pedicels in the same way (see photo for steps 1-16).

Having twisted 2 pieces of wire 15 cm long, we obliquely glue this part with a strip of green corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide. The result is the pedicel of a lily bud. Bend its 1 cm long edge to form a loop.

From white corrugated paper, cut out 1 rectangle measuring 10 x 8 cm along the “waves”. This is a detail of a lily bud.

After this, we twist the bud part into a tube and glue its edge to the peduncle so that the loop of the peduncle is inside the bud part. Now we wrap the junction of the parts with lurex thread, the ends of which are tied. Then glue a strip of green corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide to the fixed thread.

We coat the edge of the bud part with glue and twist it, as shown in the photo, and then paint the bud part with salad oil pastels. This will be a bud with a peduncle. We also perform 1 more bud with a peduncle (see photo for steps 17-20).

We obliquely wrap 1 piece of cable 30 cm long with a strip of green corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide. This will be the stem of the lily.

Now we glue the edges of the flower stalks and buds to the edge of the lily stem, evenly distributing the stalks around the stem. We wrap the junction of the parts with lurex thread, the ends of which are tied. Then glue a strip of green corrugated paper 1.5 cm wide to the fixed thread.

Many of us have seen a photo of a paper lily and probably wanted to repeat making this wonderful flower with our own hands. Paper flowers can be made using different techniques and from materials of different densities.

Origami - what is it?

Japanese masters brought to us the most wonderful art of crafts - origami. In specialized stores for creativity, you can easily buy special paper that differs in its thickness (it is very thin). Thanks to its thinness, it can be easily folded into different shapes.

In order to fold a paper lily using the origami technique, you will also need a pencil and scissors.

Consistency is very important in this Japanese paper folding technique. A small master class will tell you how easy it is to make a paper lily with your own hands.

Take a sheet of paper - you will need two squares. Choose the size based on the size of the finished flower. Make initial folds along each diagonal of the sheets.

Thanks to the folds already made, you should end up with a workpiece that will look like a square. Next, make folds at the bottom that will look like triangles. Turn the workpieces to the other side. Repeat the folds. Straighten one of the triangles. Fold it inward.

All steps must be repeated so that they are the same as the first. Turn the workpiece over and straighten out the folds. Make folds at the bottom on both sides.

Unfold the resulting workpiece. Spread it out in the middle. Bend it down a little and try to make a new fold that looks like a triangle. All four folds must be identical. Slightly stretching in different directions, try to carefully straighten the workpiece. Be sure to tuck the fold that may appear in the middle part inside. All four folds should be tucked in the same way.

The lower parts of the resulting diamond must be folded into a triangle. All lower parts should be equally curved. Take a pencil or pen and carefully twist the resulting flower petals. Repeat the procedure with the second sheet of paper. Insert one flower that you got into another. Lily is ready!

To make an original paper lily, you can take paper of any color. The main rule is that the material should be thin enough for the flower to look elegant and beautiful, but strong enough so that the flower does not tear during the process of folding all the folds.

As you can see, such a seemingly tricky process of how to make a lily out of paper is not very complicated. Be confident, attentive to detail and consistent in all folding processes - and you will master origami.

Corrugated paper flowers

There are quite a lot of master classes on the Internet that show how to make origami. However, there is another type of paper that deserves attention - corrugated paper.

In order to make a lily from corrugated paper, you will need (besides paper, of course), small wire, semolina, paints, glue, and toothpicks.

In order to make a stamen, you need to cut a small piece of wire that needs to be bent in half. This should create a so-called loop.

You need to insert a small strip of paper into the loop. Wrap the resulting stamen. The tip of the resulting figure must be bent 90 degrees. Make about five stamens. Dip the edges of the stamens in glue, then in semolina. Set aside to dry.

To make a flower column, wrap a toothpick in corrugated paper. You need to cut out about six flower petals from paper. Using paints or a pink pencil, color the center of the petal. Twist them a little. You can use scissors for this. Slightly stretch the edges of the resulting blanks.

You can start assembling the flower itself. The first in line are the pistil and stamens. Next come rows of petals. Three petals in each row. Using orange paint, paint the tips of the stamens.

As you can see, the process of producing flowers from corrugated paper is much simpler than origami, which is common in Japan. The most important thing is attention to detail, to the process, patience and the desire to create beautiful things with your own hands.

Photo of paper lilies

- a great gift. After all, it is beautiful and tasty! Try, for example, giving such a bouquet to a teacher. Why not?

Today we offer you a master class on making lilies from chocolates and corrugated paper with your own hands. It is likely that many will appreciate such lilies much more than fresh flowers. The problem with lilies is their pungent smell. They are beautiful, but the aroma can cause a headache, from which even airing will not save you. But sweet edible lilies are safe in this regard. So feel free to give them to anyone!

To make lilies we will need:

  • candies in blue wrapper
  • green wire (or regular wire and green thread)
  • white corrugated paper
  • blue mesh fabric or any other decorative elements

How to make a lily?

We cut out the petals from corrugated paper (you can use stencils) and begin to carefully wrap the lower edge of the candy in them. Five petals for each will be enough.

Now we attach the wire. If you don't have green thread, just wrap the green thread tightly around the regular thread.

Hello dear readers. Today I suggest you create a lily from corrugated paper. This is a very beautiful flower that can be used in compositions. It looks harmonious in bouquets with other flowers. The color scheme will allow you to experiment an infinite number of times. I will tell you and show you how to make a lily from corrugated paper with step-by-step photographs, and in the future, you yourself can experiment and add new details, getting an increasingly believable flower. I really love experimenting with corrugated paper and making different flowers out of it.

The lily flower is beautiful and delicate. In one word - wonderful!

Corrugated paper lily - master class with photographs

What you will need:

  • Corrugated paper (I have white, light green and pink)
  • Wire (diameter 0.4 mm)
  • Glue gun
  • Scissors, ruler
  • Floral green ribbon (tape tape)

A lily can be made from different flowers, just like the stamens for a lily.

Step-by-step process for creating a flower:

Step 1. The first step is to make the stamens for the lily using pink crepe paper. I cut strips of paper 1 cm by 3 cm.

For the stem of the stamen, I cut pieces of wire 8 cm. Wire diameter 0.4 mm,

To wrap the stamen I use strips of light green paper 0.5 cm by 3 cm.

I stretch the paper with my hands.

Step 2. I turn on the hot glue. I glue the edge of the pink strip to the wire.

I begin to wind the paper in a spiral and lower the paper down. The result is a stamen. I glue the edge of the paper to the wire.

Step 3. I glue a light green strip to the edge of the stamen and wind it around the wire going down. I fix it with hot glue.

I do this for all 5 stamens.

Step 4. For the petals, I use scissors to cut strips of white corrugated paper 9.5 cm by 3 cm. I will need 6 pieces.

I cut each strip diagonally, and I get 2 triangles.

Step 5. For the lily petal, I cut 6 pieces of wire, each 15 cm in length. Now I need to glue these two triangles to the wire.

I glue it as in the photo. I can’t describe everything... I apply a strip of glue, glue the wire, and immediately, exactly as in the photo, place the second triangle and press it with my fingers so that everything sticks well.

At the bottom of the lily petal there is a sharp edge. I round the edges at the top to give a petal shape.

We need to bend the wire with the lily petal a little. I do this for all the petals. This is what I get.

You can stretch the edge of the petal just a little to make it more wavy, but this is not necessary.

Step 6. After we have made all the petals and stamens, we can collect the flower. I put all the stamens together and wrap the tape with tape.

I attach 3 leaves, one at a time to the stamens, and wrap them with green floral ribbon. You can make a leg, I took green wire.

In the empty spaces, I put 3 more petals and wrap the tape tightly with tape. As a result, you get this lily made from corrugated paper.

You can make three of these flowers, or 5. As many flowers as you like. For example, to congratulate your relatives on their birthday, or give it to a teacher or educator. Children love to give gifts to teachers and educators and make pleasant surprises.

Or you can use such a lily for a composition when you make a bouquet of flowers. Naturally, flowers are made of corrugated paper. The bouquet can be supplemented with different flowers, leaves, berries.

By the way, in the background I have berries made of corrugated paper. Make lilies, I hope everything works out for you. Let the master class on how to make a lily from corrugated paper with photographs help you with this. Creating beauty with your own hands is easy and simple!

The Legend of the Lily:

They say that the Theban queen, the beautiful Alcmene, the mother of Hercules, fearing the revenge of the jealous Juno, in order to hide Hercules, who was born by her from Jupiter, placed him under a dense bush; but Minerva, who knew the divine origin of the baby, deliberately took Juno to this place and showed her the poor child abandoned by his mother. Juno really liked the healthy, charming little boy, and as the protector and patroness of all newborns, she agreed to let the thirsty little one suck on her milk. But the boy, instinctively sensing his enemy in her, bit her so hard that she, screaming in pain, roughly pushed him away. The milk splashed and, spilling across the sky, formed the Milky Way, and a few drops of it, falling to the ground, turned into lilies.

There is also a legend that under the lily was the cradle of Moses, but, of course, not under the white one, but under the yellow one, which usually grows among reeds and reeds.

The lily was also found in ancient Germanic mythology, and the thunder god Thor was always depicted holding a lightning bolt in his right hand and a scepter topped with a lily in his left. It was also used to decorate the foreheads of the ancient inhabitants of Pomerania during festivities in honor of the goddess of spring, and its fragrant corolla served in the German fairy-tale world as a magic wand for Oberon and the home of small fairy-tale creatures - elves.
According to these legends, each lily has its own elf, who is born with it and dies with it. The corollas of these flowers serve as bells for these tiny creatures, and by swinging them they call their pious brethren to prayer. These prayer meetings usually take place in the late evening hours, when everything in the gardens has calmed down and fallen into deep sleep. Then one of the elves runs to the flexible stem of the lily and begins to swing it. The lily bells ring and wake up the sweetly sleeping elves with their silvery ringing. Tiny creatures wake up, crawl out of their soft beds and silently and solemnly go to the corollas of lilies, which at the same time serve them as chapels. Here they bow their knees, fold their hands piously and thank the Creator in fervent prayer for the blessings bestowed upon them. Having prayed, they also silently rush back to their flower cradles and soon fall asleep again in a deep, carefree sleep...
A lot of legends about the lily can be found on the pages and this is just a small part, but I wanted to show that this flower is very beautiful and its legends too. Let's now make a little “legend-fairy tale” for ourselves.
Material:
Corrugated paper yellow and green
PVA glue
Simple pencil
Scissors
Wooden stick
Wire cutters
Wire
Markers

Template for work:

Progress:

We cut out two templates: No. 1 is a petal, No. 2 is a leaf.

Next No. 1 i.e. cut out a petal into three flowers from yellow corrugated paper, 18 pcs., No. 2 - a leaf from green corrugated paper, 6-8 pcs. (Attention, we cut out all the petals and leaves so that the strips of corrugated paper are along as in the photo)

Now you can use a felt-tip pen to color (as in the photo) the petals of the future flower.

We shape the petal by stretching its upper edges to the sides.

We prepare a 1 cm tape of yellow corrugated paper, 18 pieces of wire. 10 cm each and PVA glue.

The wire must be wrapped with corrugated paper tape.

We glue the wrapped wire onto each petal from the wrong side in the middle.

Let's give it shape.

Now you need to take 3 pieces of wire. 12 cm each and wrap it with yellow corrugated paper.

At the end of the wire we clamp the stamens (3-6 pieces) and wrap them with corrugated tape as in the photo.

Let's start assembling the flower. First, we wrap three petals onto a stick with stamens with thread.

We wrap three more petals around the flower.

We wrap the stick with green corrugated tape.

And so we have three flowers ready.

We take a long stick under the stem (mine is 35 cm, and since it is thin, I wound three pieces of thread.)

We give the leaves shape.

We wrap the flower around the stem with corrugated green tape, not forgetting to insert the leaves, alternating with the flowers.
