Carnation crochet pattern with photo. Crocheted flowers: crocheted carnations Technique for how to tightly sew a crocheted carnation

Flowers in every home are the embodiment of warmth, love and the presence of the feminine gender. This beautiful and pleasant thing always pleases the eye. But, unfortunately, the cut ones will not last long in the vase, even if you give them careful care and attention. Therefore, as a replacement, I suggest you crochet flowers.

And a little more about knitted flowers:

I would like to bring to your attention patterns for knitting roses, poppies, violets, callas, bells, carnations, tulips, orchids, sunflowers, narcissus and other flowers. A beautiful flower can stand alone in your vase, or you can crochet a whole bouquet, wreath or garland to decorate your interior. This carefully collected collection will tell you how to crochet flowers: detailed descriptions and diagrams.

You can also decorate clothes, handbags, hair, hats and other things with knitted flowers. Here are some tips to help you with crocheting flowers:

To achieve the lightness of the flower, it is better to use muted colors.

If you use thin threads, then to get a larger flower, increase the number of loops in the pattern.

Beads add a beautiful shine to the work, especially as the core and stamens. But you can also use ready-made stamens.

If you have several identical parts (petals, leaves or flowers), stretch the finished element with your hands so that they all have the same size and shape.

When you start assembling on a special wire, it is important to give the correct shape to get the most natural look of the knitted flower. Look carefully at photographs of fresh flowers so that each crocheted flower looks as natural as possible.

Description of knitting carnations

February 23 is the day of real men, defenders of the Fatherland! On this wonderful holiday, we give our men gifts. And it is for such a day that we will knit a flower in this master class that will always represent happiness, immense joy and, of course, victory. Carnation does not knit for long. And it looks truly festive and very beautiful. From a distance it even resembles a living flower. To knit carnations we will need:

  • yarn (white, red and green);
  • hook;
  • tape;
  • wire or newspaper tube.

We will start with the flower itself. And let's make it white with a bright red border. You can also knit a simple red or pink carnation. So, first, let's dial a chain of air loops. There should be eight loops. Now we simply form a ring from our resulting chain, into which our knitting will begin. Next, we begin to knit the flower. At the beginning of the row we will always make three chain stitches. We will have such a small chain of loops instead of the first double crochet. And then we will knit only with double crochets. We knit twenty-five columns in a circle formed from an air chain. And at the very end we will connect the end and beginning of our first row with a connecting loop. Now let's start knitting the second row. It should contain a larger number of columns. Therefore, we will double their number. And we will knit two columns in each loop. So at the end of the circular row we will have fifty columns. And the knitting will already begin to curl. It will become wavy. We need this in order for the flower to turn out lush. In the third row we will again double the number of columns. And at the end of the row we will get a hundred pieces. The flower will begin to curl even more. Again in the next fourth row we will double the number of stitches. And we will already get as many as two hundred pieces. And then we will have alternating knitting. We knit one column in a loop, then two, again one and so on in a circle. And here we no longer double the number of loops, but still add them. And at the end of knitting this row you will get only three hundred columns. We will knit the fifth row similarly to the fourth. And in it we will get four hundred loops. All. This completes the knitting of the main element of the flower. That's how fluffy it turns out. Now let’s take bright red yarn and tie our flower. You can do without the red color and tie it with the same white yarn. But a two-color carnation will look more interesting. We knit one single crochet. And we make three air loops. And again in the next column we will knit a single crochet. And so on in all columns in the previous row. This is the kind of flower we will get. Now we will knit some leaves for him. Let's make twenty-one loops. We knit in subsequent loops like this: a connecting column, one single crochet, one half double crochet, one double crochet and thirteen double crochets. And then one double crochet, a half double crochet, a single crochet and a connecting column. Next we will make a stem for the leaves and flower. We take either a wire or a newspaper tube and wrap it with tape. And don’t forget to attach our leaves to the stem. Now we hot glue the flower itself to the top of the stem. You need to glue it as tightly as possible so that the flower does not dangle or hang down. This is such a bright and fluffy carnation we get! It can be used to decorate pillows. You can also knit a couple more of the same flowers and collect these flowers into a beautiful festive bouquet, which you can decorate your home with or give as a gift to someone.

Victory Day is one of the most revered and respected holidays! It's hard to imagine this day without red carnations. Therefore, today we will knit an unfading flower-souvenir for this wonderful holiday. Watch the master class Carnation crochet pattern and repeat! We hope you will be pleased with the result!

To crochet carnations we will need:

  • Green and red (pink) yarn;
  • Hook 1.75 mm.

How to crochet a carnation pattern?

The carnation knitting pattern begins with the stem.

Therefore, we take green yarn and form 3 loops. Now we perform 6 sc in the very first loop. So we got a ring of 6 loops.

Another idea for Victory Day:

Now we will knit the flower itself, so we change the thread to red.

We perform 8 air loops and connect the chain into a ring, knitting a connecting post into the very first loop.

We make 1 chain stitch, and then knit 20 sc into the resulting ring.

Now we will knit arches.

We do 4 air. loops and into the next base loop we knit 1 sc.

We knit like this until the very end.

We connect the row into the first loop of the very first air chain of the row.

At the beginning of a new row, we need to move the knitting under the first arch of 3 loops.

Now we perform 5 air loops.

We knit 5 dc2n under each arch. Don't forget to knit 1 chain stitch between them.

We will start the new row with 1 air loop for lifting and make 4 more loops. Under the next chain stitch of the bottom row we knit 1 sc.

Again we make 4 loops and knit 1 sc under the new chain stitch of the row.

So we knit until the end.

The thread can be cut and the tail hidden.

Now let's return to the stem. We join with red yarn and knit 2 sc in each of the 6 columns. That is, we get 12 sc.

Now we make 4 chain stitches and knit 1 sc into the next base loop.

We will do this in every loop.

At the beginning of a new row, we need to make a connecting column under the first arch.

We form 5 air loops and knit 6 dc2n under the same arch. Between them we knit 1 chain stitch.

We knit this way under each arch of the row.

And we do the last row.

We make 5 loops and perform a sc under the chain loop of the bottom row.

Then we knit the entire row as follows: 4 air. loops and 1 sc for each chain stitch on the bottom row. That is, we form arches.

Another interesting lesson:

We knit leaves. To do this, take green yarn again.

We cast on 14 air loops and 1 more loop for lifting.

All we have to do is collect the flower.

To do this, take the part with the stem and insert it into the hole in the center of the second part. We knitted it immediately after the stem.

So our flower became lush.

The carnation crochet pattern is ready! Congratulations on the upcoming Victory Day! May there always be peace!
