Do-it-yourself bathhouse from a cabin cabin. Bathhouse from a trailer on a summer cottage Do-it-yourself bathhouse of a construction shed

After purchase land plot pleasant chores begin related to planning the site, choosing a project, purchasing the necessary building material. As you know, construction is not a quick task, and with limited finances it can last for many years. Well, how can you, if you have a plot of land, not relax, barbecue with friends, or spend a pleasant time on it while construction is going on? Nice holiday can be organized on your site with a minimum of necessary buildings.

The first thing that appears on the site and is building number one is the toilet. You can't go anywhere without him. For comfortable stay in the warm season, an ordinary construction shed will do. In this article, we will look at how to diversify and complement your holiday with a Russian bathhouse, which you can make with your own hands from a change house or a container.

good wooden sauna made of logs or timber is not cheap, and the construction of such a bathhouse will take at least two years, but you want to take a steam bath with a broom and fragrant steam today.

You can buy a not very expensive change house outside the construction season, that is, in winter, or buy a used one. The change house does not need a powerful foundation. It can be installed on small concrete blocks. The number of possible rooms in the future bathhouse will depend on the size of the cabin. In a small cabin you can only place a steam room and a relaxation room or washing room, but in a large one you can even place a toilet. When purchasing a change house that is subsequently planned to be converted into a bathhouse, you need to pay attention not only to its size, but also to the insulation of the walls, floor and ceiling. The minimum thickness of insulation in the wall should be at least ten centimeters. If the thickness of the insulation is less, then the entire frame of the cabin will have to be redone, since the timber for it is selected based on the thickness of the insulation. To retain heat in the steam room for a longer period of time, it is necessary to additionally lay foil insulation along the walls and seal the joints with foil tape. In inexpensive cabins, the inside walls are usually lined with hardboard, which is not suitable for a bathhouse. In this case, the walls of the change house will have to be redone with your own hands and covered with wooden clapboard. This will not be very difficult to do, since there is no need to arrange the sheathing. The lining can be fixed directly to the frame of the cabin. To decorate a steam room in a bathhouse, linden lining is usually used. It does not contain resin and does not emit harmful substances when heated.

The electrical wiring in the part of the cabin where the steam room will be located must be replaced with heat-resistant wiring. The lamp will also need to be replaced with heat-resistant ones. For greater safety and to avoid fire, it is necessary to install an electrical panel with an RCD (device protective shutdown) and automatic machines.

Furniture for a bath can also be made with your own hands from wooden planks, which will probably remain superfluous during construction. For a couple of benches and a table you won’t need a lot of them.

From the outside, you can not touch the trailer and leave everything as it is, but if you really want to give it the look of a real log bathhouse, then you can fork out for a House block. Its installation can also be done by hand. The old finishing (wallpaper, corrugated sheet) will need to be dismantled and the House block attached to the existing frame.

To give a more aesthetic appearance to a bathhouse from a change house, it is better to convert the roof to a gable roof, if there was not one initially. To do this, you don’t have to dismantle the old roof, but just make rafters on it. Make lathing along the rafters and cover the roof roofing material(profiled sheets, metal tiles). For a more pleasant time on the site and using the bathhouse from the cabin as a gazebo, you can attach a spacious veranda to it with your own hands. To do this, we will need several concrete blocks instead of a foundation and several 100 by 100 mm bars. We make the lower trim from the bars, part of which we attach to the change house. From the same bars we make racks and the upper frame according to the principle of the bottom. We put up the rafters and cover it with a roof. If you make a gable roof, common with the change house, you will get a completely residential second floor.

The only thing left to do is purchase and install the stove. The choice of stove will depend on the size of the steam room. The larger the steam room, the more powerful and expensive the stove. For a bathhouse from a change house, a wood-burning stove, the so-called heater, is ideal.

As you can see, it is inexpensive and useful to make a bathhouse from a change house with your own hands. And if you get a little creative with the exterior design, you may well end up with a masterpiece that will remain on your property forever.

Very often, after building a house, used cabins remain on the site. The owners can adapt them to store tools or building materials. But not many people realize that this structure can be used to make a small and comfortable bathhouse.

What are the advantages:
- cost savings;
- easy to sell;
- you are not required to maintain standard distances from neighboring plots, because According to the standards, a change house is a temporary structure;
- the bathhouse can be easily moved from one area to another;

1. Location on the site

First of all, it is worth remembering that the bathhouse is perhaps the most fire-hazardous building on your site. Despite the fact that conscientious owners use special impregnations to make wood fire-resistant, log saunas burn like matches. Therefore, the bathhouse building should be located away from the main residential buildings.

According to sanitary standards:

SNiP 30-02-97

6.8 Minimum distances between buildings according to sanitary conditions there should be, m:

  • from garden house and the cellar to the restroom - 12;
  • to shower, bath and sauna – 8;
  • from the well to the latrine and composting device – 8;
  • before construction for keeping small livestock and poultry, showers, baths, saunas - 12;
  • from a cellar to a composting facility and buildings for keeping small livestock and poultry – 7.

According to fire safety standards according to the same SNiP 30-02-97 a distance of 15 meters from buildings should be maintained neighboring plot. (Clause 6.5.* Fire distances between buildings and structures within the same area are not standardized.) In any case, the change house is a temporary structure and the standards do not apply to it.

2. Foundation

What is the advantage of a change house over a frame or brick bath? The cabin does not require any special foundation. It is enough to place it under the support profile edged boards, timber, cinder block, in general, anything that would provide good support and allow the floor to be leveled under the right angle. If you are not going to move your building anywhere, then you can fork out for a “capital” foundation in the form of foundation blocks or, for example, the now very popular screw piles. However, if there is a strong metal frame, there is no particular need for this.

3. Bathhouse layout

First of all, it is necessary to take into account that it is advisable to separate the steam room from the relaxation room so that steam does not penetrate there, creating excess humidity in the room. Doors, according to standards fire safety, must necessarily open outwards.

Steam room dimensions It is not recommended to make it more than 2.2x2.5 meters, and a height of more than 2.3 m, because in a large room it is more difficult to control the microclimate. In addition, the larger the volume of the room, the more powerful and, accordingly, more expensive the stove will be. This suits us quite well, because... standard size block container 2.45 m along the outer walls, inside, depending on the “pie”, the walls are approximately 2.3 m. For a steam room, it would be best to step back from the end wall of the cabin - 1.5-2 m and make a partition separating the steam room rooms and washing room.

For steam room interior decoration Linden lining is most often used. But you can save money and get by with pine. Or combine it: the bottom, covered with benches, is decorated with pine clapboard (the temperature in the lower part of the steam room still does not rise above 60 C°), and the top is decorated with linden.

Door to the steam room You can make it wooden or glass. A glass door is more expensive, but more practical. It is guaranteed not to deform from steam and humidity. But wooden ones hold heat in the room better. There will be no loss of stove power. Optimal size opening 1.93x0.76 m, because The most common size of a sauna door is 1.9 x 0.7 m.

shelves

1. There is no point in making shelves more than two levels

The shelf length should be more height person. 2.2m-2.3m is an excellent length, but 2m will do in a pinch. It is enough to make the width of the shelf 60-70cm (more is possible, but then it will not be very comfortable to sit on it. But this is not scary)

2. It should be comfortable for the steamer too. The one who soars must have direct “access to the body.” that is, in a good way, there should not be a lower shelf between the steamer and the top shelf, since if there is one, the steamer will have to bend over to reach it - this is an additional load on the steamer’s back. But the steamer receives significantly more stress (both thermal and physical) than the one being steamed. But imagine that you have to stand bending over for 10 minutes - anyone’s back will hurt.

4. Insulation and environmental safety

The main purpose of the bathhouse design is to store heat, so thermal insulation cabins - baths should be given special attention. I do not recommend using materials such as polystyrene foam as thermal insulation for a steam room. The debate about the dangers of expanded polystyrene continues to this day. Our manufacturers do not always comply with production rules and regulations, so low-quality polystyrene foams often contain styrene itself, which is a highly toxic substance. Expanded polystyrene has a fire resistance group of G1 (flammable).

I recommend using non-flammable insulation materials as thermal insulation, for example mineral (ISOVER) or stone wool(ROCKWOOL)(flammability group G4 - non-flammable).
The bathhouse must be insulated along the contour (walls, floor, ceiling). Typically in warm southern conditions Krasnodar region Manufacturers consider floor insulation in a change house unnecessary, since this increases the cost of the structure and additional costs for protecting the floor insulation from moisture by lining the bottom with a galvanized steel sheet.
In a steam room, it is advisable to remove everything from the walls and ceiling. plastic materials– sheathing PVC panels, electrical wiring in cable ducts, switches, etc.

5. Electrical wiring

In a steam room, it is advisable to lay electrical wiring under insulation. Be sure (!) to use heat-resistant wire and lay the cable in a metal hose.
It is advisable to connect the stove through a circuit breaker with differential protection.

6. Waterproofing

For waterproofing the outside of the insulation, it is best to use a windproof three-layer superdiffusion membrane Yutawek or similar. This film will reliably protect the structure of the bathhouse from wind and water, and will also be able to ensure the free exit of excess moisture from the room.

It is usually used as an under-roof film to protect against rain and snow, but it is also suitable in this case. You need to attach it with the white side to the insulation, the dark side out. It is sold in rolls of 1.5x50m.

7. Heat reflector

On top of the insulation, the walls, floor and ceiling in the steam room are finished with foil paper (foil inside the room), it is easily attached to wooden blocks with a stapler, and the seams are taped with metal tape.

8. Construction of a stove-heater for a bath.

It is better to choose a stove from well-known manufacturers like Harvia, Ermak, etc. You can buy other analogues, but then, if the oven breaks down, finding spare parts may be a problem for you. The space behind the stove must be finished with a heat-resistant material; a galvanized steel sheet is quite suitable for these purposes. If you want to decorate the space behind the stove with tiles, then it is better to use heat-resistant plasterboard as a base for the tiles. The tile next to the stove should be heat-resistant, clinker, and not fixed in the usual way. tile adhesive, and buy glue Litokol or similar.

This glue is diluted not with water, but with a special milk Latexcol.
A special screen made of stainless steel or galvanized steel is useful above the stove. Firstly, thanks to the screen, heat will be better transferred to the shelves, and secondly, the lining above the stove will not darken due to high temperature. The screen should be installed at an angle. You will attach the bottom of the screen to the wall, and the top part to the ceiling of the cabin with long screws through small 30mm bars so that the temperature from the screen is not transferred to the wall.
In order for the heat of the stove to be used not only in the steam room, but also to warm the rest of the rooms, in the partition separating the steam room, closer to the floor at the location of the heater, you can make a hole with a diameter of 100 mm with corrugated metal pipe. WITH reverse side this hole is closed by a ventilation grille.

All wooden buildings have their own identical characteristics, so, taking them into account, we will talk about how you can make a bathhouse from a change house with your own hands. In this case, we have an almost ready-made room for arranging a steam room - we just have to complete the work by adding some elements. So, we’ll talk about what else needs to be done, and also, as an addition, we’ll watch a thematic video in this article.

Steam room from a cabin

Basic device

  • Any frame baths cabins and timber houses are settled on a strip, pile or columnar foundation, therefore, in this situation there can be no exceptions. Depending on the superior structure, as well as on the condition of the soil, the thickness of the foundation is selected.

  • In the photo above you see a frame that is installed for sheathing with material that imitates wooden beam. But it is not installed immediately, but waterproofing and a wind barrier are placed underneath.
  • The inside of the room is sometimes sheathed with ordinary boards, but in this case we are interested in how to make a bathhouse out of a change house. Therefore, between the outer and internal walls We install insulation, which can be mineral wool.

Advice. Mineral wool can be three types- glass, stone (basalt) and slag, and any of them has good waterproofing qualities. But slag wool is made from molten slag from blast furnaces, and therefore contains particles of iron ore, which begins to rust at high humidity. For this reason, it is better not to use it for a bath.

  • For the floor, just like for the walls, you need insulation, only without a wind barrier, and here it is best to lay a vapor-permeable film under the cotton wool with the smooth side out. Due to its porous structure, where the pores are made in the form of a cone, moisture can penetrate only in one direction and in this case it turns out that it will pass from the insulation to the ground. Although the price of such a hydrobarrier is slightly higher than a regular film, the insulation will last longer, and regular cellophane can be laid on top, under the boards.

  • Such cabins for bathhouses are also insulated from the ceiling side, and the method is used exactly the same as on the floor, only upside down - internal lining/cellophane film/mineral wool/vapor-permeable film/ondulin or corrugated sheeting. But this is not enough for a good bath - from the inside, under wooden lining Foil or foil-coated polyethylene foam is placed on the walls and ceiling, but more on that later.

What is needed for a bath

Of course, if we focus on ready-made bathhouses, then everything is already there, but we need to equip the room so that it becomes a full-fledged steam room with a shower and changing room. Therefore, first of all, we need to take care of the water drainage ladder, which must be installed in the washing and steam compartments.

Sometimes they are installed without connecting to the sewer, but this is incorrect, since soapy and dirty water When poured onto the ground, over time it forms a hotbed that spreads unpleasant odors; moreover, it is unhygienic.

For wastewater, you can equip the most ordinary cesspool, laying there from, but, again, such a place will have to be tightly covered with some kind of lid, otherwise the odors will spread throughout the entire area and to the neighbors. In order to completely get rid of the problem caused by unpleasant odors, you can equip a mini-septic tank for drainage.

We described its installation in another article, and in addition, there are instructions from the manufacturer - in fact, water flows into the soil, purified by at least 75%, which is quite acceptable for plants.

As noted above, it is much better if on top of the waterproofing mineral wool install aluminum foil or foil foamed polyethylene. The fact is that foil is capable of reflecting thermal infrared radiation, which will increase the power of thermal insulation by an order of magnitude.

Advice. When installing foil on the walls, it is overlapped, only the top layer should overlap the bottom to prevent moisture from flowing in. If possible, it is best to seal such joints with foil tape.

There is a ready-made bathhouse for sale with a stove made like a “potbelly stove”, but what’s the point of it if you want to equip it not just with a shower, but with a steam room? For such a small room, the temperature that will come from the steam room will be quite sufficient, and for additional heating you can even leave it on short time the door is slightly ajar.

The whole question is which stove to use for such a mobile steam room, and here, perhaps, the best option There will be an electric heater stove, which can be either free-standing or mounted. The second option will probably be more convenient, since in our case there will be very little space, and it is better to save it.

Despite the small size of the room, the stove must be installed with a certain distance from the wooden paneling of the room to avoid fire. Also, to use an electric heater of this type, it must be installed on the side of the locker room. circuit breaker RCD (residual current device).

Also you can use on solid fuel, only in this case special measures are also needed fire safety. Since we will be dealing with open fire, the floor must be covered with galvanized sheet, and on the side of the firebox the length metal sheet should be at least 70 cm, as shown in the top photo.

Such a stove, of course, will cost you less than an electric one, and it will also be more economical in maintenance, but it is larger in size and, naturally, will occupy additional space in an already small room.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it should also be mentioned that in order to equip a bathhouse based on a cabin, you need to take care running water. If you have such an opportunity, then connect it to the main line, and if not, then use a deep pump or hydrophore, pumping it out of the well. For hot water you can install an electric boiler ().

How to build a bathhouse

Currently, cabins are in great demand. This is explained by the fact that mobile structures can be multifunctional. In some cabins you can live, in others you can store various materials or even arrange a steam room and washroom. The change house bathhouse is planned, like a regular bathhouse, from the dressing room to the canopy. If desired, a bathhouse from a cabin can be constructed independently.

Characteristics of the planning solution

Economy option for a summer residence

In plan, the structure has a rectangular cross-section with a width of no more than 2.3 m and a length of 7 m. The foundation is light or made of reinforced concrete blocks. The walls of a bathhouse are usually made of timber. The roof is made gable or single-pitched. The roof is covered with sheet steel using a primer to protect against corrosion. Window units are made with double glazing. In this embodiment, they transmit light and at the same time retain heat. It is recommended to cover the door frame of the change house with clapboard on both sides. The ceiling and floor must be insulated. The ceiling insulation is covered with clapboard. When arranging the floor, you should use insulation, for example, glassine.

Such a bathhouse, as expected, is equipped with a stove. The stove can be electric or wood-burning. The choice depends on the needs of the bathhouse owner. Modern people Those who do not have the time and desire to prepare firewood and light the stove choose the electric option. The classic wood-burning stove is no less popular, as the smell and crackling of heated wood is reminiscent of a traditional Russian bathhouse. It is quite possible to build such a stove with your own hands.

The internal surfaces of the walls of the cabin are sheathed wooden materials, for example, lining with special antifungal impregnation. The steam room can be tiled plasterboard sheets followed by finishing ceramic tiles. The outside walls of the cabin are lined with siding. Before installing the siding, you can cover it with OSB board, which will ensure the walls are airtight and windproof.

Advice from the master!

When planning a bathhouse, we must not forget about its increased fire hazard. Even with special impregnation of materials, it can burn. Therefore, it is better to locate the bathhouse away from residential buildings. Based on fire safety standards, it should be located at least 15 m from other buildings.

Installation of mobile baths

Although the structure being erected is quite simple, a drawing will still be required for its construction. With its help, you can find your way much easier by distributing the free space and fitting a change house into it. Using the drawing, you can get a clear idea of the future premises and make the correct calculations for purchasing material.

When rebuilding cabins with your own hands, you only need to plan the room, perform the necessary external and interior decoration, provide connection to water and sewerage.

Construction of a mini-sauna frame

Baths of this kind are prefabricated buildings and are supplied assembled and disassembled. The speed of construction is mainly due to the use of ready-made design schemes, as well as modern technologies and materials for construction. Therefore, it takes 5-7 minutes to install the assembled bath.

If necessary, such cabins can be easily rearranged to another location. If the structure is disassembled, it will take several days to erect it. The oven is included. Immediately after installing the sauna, you can heat the stove and wait for the optimal temperature regime and operate the premises as intended.

Such baths are used on construction sites, rotational service facilities, and summer cottages. They are used not only for personal purposes, but also for organizing bath and laundry enterprises, as well as all types of business based on countryside recreation. There are no restrictions on the construction of this type of quickly erected structures in various climatic and geographical zones.

Steam room in the bathhouse

Advice from the master!

Mobility and ease of operation allow the bathhouse to be reused in constantly changing conditions. The cabin can be easily transported to the forest, to the lake, or on a mountain hike. The popularity of using such structures for countryside holiday and relaxation in nature is gaining momentum not only in Russia, but also in other countries near and far abroad.

Features of bathhouses

An old cabin can be very easily converted into a bathhouse with your own hands; you just need to ensure that certain conditions are met.

  1. The change house must have non-toxic decor. It is important that it lacks plastic elements, capable of high temperature release toxins harmful to humans.
  2. Availability of ventilation. The structure is installed at a distance of at least 30 cm from the ground.
  3. Waterproofing must be reliable. A special polymer hydrobarrier is stretched onto the structural frame.
  4. It is important to provide good internal and external thermal insulation.
  5. The change house must be connected to the sewer and water mains. If this is not possible, install a deep pump that pumps water out of the well. To have hot water in the bathhouse, you can install an electric boiler.

Advantages of prefabricated baths.

  1. Short installation period and construction of the finished structure.
  2. Minimum waiting time before use.
  3. The ease of converting an old cabin into a new bathhouse, which you can do yourself.
  4. Financial savings - mobile saunas are cheaper than their usual wooden counterparts.
  5. Possibility of transportation and reinstallation of the structure.
  6. Use in any climatic and geographical conditions.
  7. Possibility of using both a wood stove and an electric one.
  8. The cabin is made from environmentally friendly materials.
  9. Pleasant design due to the possibility of application various options interior and exterior decoration.
  10. High degree of fire safety of the structure.
  11. Reliable tightness and sufficient thermal insulation.

Otherwise, such a bathhouse is no different from the usual stationary one. Due to its low cost, people with below-average incomes can afford it. You can make a mobile sauna with your own hands by refurbishment of an old shed, or you can order a ready-made one from any specialized organization.

Advice from the master!

If all installation rules are followed and the features of the structure are taken into account, an ordinary change house will turn into a high-quality, durable and safe mobile bathhouse.

Bathhouse from a trailer on a summer cottage

As practice shows, a person can do a lot, even one who has never encountered anything before. The main thing is that he has a desire, and he can always figure out how to find opportunities. The article will discuss how to make a bathhouse out of a trailer, which is often left behind by builders on the site.

They no longer need it, and a zealous owner will always be able to find a use for such a “gift.” Its purpose is temporary housing in which people can be provided with a comfortable stay. Carriages are made from wood, metal, or a combination of these materials.

Why is it interesting in the first place? this option steam room? You immediately receive a “semi-finished product” of the structure. All that remains is to insulate it and decorate the inside.

Foundation for a trailer

The design is selected based on the dimensions of the building and the quality of the soil.

There are four main types:

  • tape;
  • columnar;
  • pile;
  • slab

The sauna trailer can easily be placed on a shallow columnar base. The “power” of the structure is not that great, so you can do without reinforced concrete tape. In addition, it should be borne in mind that the building can be moved at any time to another site.

Dismantling a columnar base will then cause much less hassle than a monolithic reinforced concrete one. Please also keep in mind that the price and labor spent on building a columnar foundation for a bathhouse will be several times less than a strip foundation.

The height of the base is 300-400 mm from the ground. This will make it possible to make additional bedding to insulate the lower part of the trailer.

The cheapest option is a foundation made of asbestos-cement pipes. However, its durability and strength are questionable. A pile foundation is installed in swampy and heaving areas, but its cost will be very expensive. It’s not difficult to build a base for a trailer with your own hands, the main thing is to follow the construction technology.

Preparation

Below are instructions for the preliminary stage.

  1. Clear the selected area of debris and bushes, and if necessary, uproot trees.
  2. Make markings using pegs and cord to mark the center lines. Place the columns of the future foundation at a distance of 2-3 m.
  3. Remove the fertile layer of soil in the areas of future foundation columns.

Advice: if you are installing a strip foundation, remove the fertile layer around the entire perimeter.

Manufacturing

  1. Make a sand and gravel bedding 100-150 mm high. Tamp it thoroughly with moisture.
  2. Build a columnar foundation on it:
    • Made of red brick or concrete blocks. Conduct masonry with bandaging of seams using cement-sand mortar.
    • For a monolithic columnar foundation, formwork must first be made. A reinforcement cage should be installed inside. Between him and outer wall the distance must be at least 50 mm.
  3. Waterproof the base by covering it with roofing felt.
  4. Install a frame made of wooden beams with a section of 150x150 mm on top. Secure the beams together with metal corners or make corner joints “into a paw”, “half a tree” or others.

Advice: everything wooden elements must be treated with an antiseptic before installation.

  1. Check the foundation with a horizontal level, if necessary, place linings under the frame.

Without foundation

Bathhouse trailers often do not have a foundation.

In this case, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose a place for the bathhouse trailer.
  2. Tamp it down.
  3. Make a frame from timber with a cross-section of 200x200 mm and install it on bricks or concrete blocks.
  4. Sheathe the frame with slabs or boards, and also cover it with roofing material.

Insulation of a bathhouse trailer

Bathhouses made from a trailer differ from ordinary trailer cabins in the level of thermal protection. This is especially true for the steam room, where it is not only necessary to create desired temperature, but keep it long enough. There are two versions of the trailer - wooden and metal.

Let's consider the last one as the most difficult.

  1. Weld pieces of a corner with a hole for a nail to the iron wall on the outside and inside; you can weld a plate, a strip, or weld a bolt.
  2. Attach a wooden beam with a section of 100x100 mm to them. In the first case, use a nail; in the second, pre-drill holes in it for the bolt and secure the material with a nut and washer.
  3. Install bath insulation between the bars, for example:
    • basalt wool;
    • isover;
    • polyurethane sheets.
  1. When using cotton wool, it must be protected from moisture with glassine or polyethylene film, which is placed on top of the beam.
  2. Cover the top of the structure with boards or siding.
  3. Insulate the trailer in the same way from the inside with 50x50 mm timber.
  4. Place polyurethane sheets on the floor and cover them with floorboards. This way you can reliably insulate the floor and reduce costs for heating the room.

Functionality

Bake

The main part of any bathhouse, since without it it is impossible to create a real steam room. Most often, heater stoves are used, when stones are placed on the top of the stove to accumulate heat.

The most practical location of the stove is the firebox outside the steam room. In this case, there are all conditions for creating a safe zone around it using a metal sheet. The heater should be installed on a brick base, and the passage of the bathhouse stove pipe through the roof must be insulated with asbestos and other non-flammable materials to avoid fire.

Configuration

The rooms in the bathhouse trailer are located one after another.

  1. An entrance that must have two doors and a vestibule between them.
  2. The locker room is usually not heated, but electric heating can be installed.
  3. A rest room or dressing room with or without a shower.
  4. Steam room.

Sewage and water

Hot water in the shower can come from an electric boiler, or a heating radiator can be diverted from the stove. In the first case, the shower can be used without lighting the bath. Water is discharged either into a separate pit on the site or into the central sewer system. Cold water should be supplied to a separate storage tank, located inside the trailer.

Conclusion

A do-it-yourself bathhouse from a trailer is an interesting opportunity to use auxiliary structures. In the video presented in this article you will find additional information on this topic.

Good afternoon, friends. A good friend was given an old cabin, 6x3m in size, which was divided into 2 parts, with a brick stove in the middle.
It was decided to make a bathhouse out of the trailer. The trailer was brought through the narrow winding streets of the dacha community and installed on concrete blocks.
Unfortunately, the photo of the interior was not preserved; first of all, we dismantled it, removed the siding, the stove, the ceiling and walls (chipboard), as well as the old mine. cotton wool A small bucket was collected from the trailer of nails.

After dismantling the old one was replaced slate roof, on a metal roof.
Rear view, there was a window that was removed.

Side view

Front view, a powerful door originally from the USSR was installed, there were 2 windows, one remains with a decorative grille.

There is another window cut into the side.

In the car itself, part of the lathing was left, part was replaced with a new one made of timber.

The trailer itself was divided into 3 parts, the most large room, composition - vapor barrier - panels made of mineral wool 50 thick, vapor barrier, ceiling and walls - lining, floor - batten. The floor around the entire perimeter is screed.

The wiring is hidden in a corrugation, 3 lamps are installed in 3 rooms, 3 sockets in 1 room.

Later a small sofa and the necessary furniture will be installed

In the washing machine there are tiles with the required slope

The walls are clapboard treated with a protective agent.

The tap is turned off hot water, cast iron stove, heating from the sink.

The bathhouse was made in my free time, it took 2 months, the first test was successful, heating up to 80 degrees in 1 hour. Water supply is decided on current moment supplied by a pump from the source in which the bath is installed. Electricity is supplied. There are plans to make a sidebar for cold water so as not to throw the hose and replace the hot water tap with a higher flow one. Also equip it with the necessary bath furniture and cover the outside with insulation with 50mm mineral mats. About 180,000 rubles were spent on materials and delivery.
