      If necessary, the boiler can be adjusted remotely using a remote control or GSM alert.

      Floor-standing boilers

      Gas floor standing boilers heating Nova Florida can also be divided into several categories depending on technical device designs:

      All models of Nova Florida heating boilers support the ability to connect an external thermostat and room temperature sensors. Their installation ensures optimization of heating operation.

      Installation and commissioning

      During installation of Nova Florida boilers, it is necessary to comply with general rules safety regarding installation gas equipment. In this case, some features and characteristics of the technology should be taken into account:

      When choosing, you should first of all be guided by required power devices. You can calculate performance using a simple calculation:

      1 kW =10 m²

      You should also consider the operating principle of the equipment. Atmospheric boilers are less demanding to operate and more reliable, but have higher gas consumption. Condensing systems require precise tuning, but can reduce fuel costs by up to 30%.

      The cost of the Nova Florida boiler in the basic configuration is quite attractive for the price segment in which it is located. For a relatively low price, productive equipment with all the functions necessary for heating and hot water supply is provided.

      Boiler adjustments and repairs Nova Florida

      We connected a Nova Florida CTFS 24 AF gas wall-mounted boiler to the system. After it was set up and connected, we did not perform any manipulations with it, since we do not have specialists nearby, and we ourselves do not know how. It has worked without problems all the time since the start of use. After switching it to summer mode, problems with pressure began. It began to grow. I tried to return it to the previous mode, the problem still remained. At first, when the problem appeared, the pressure increased by 0.1 per hour, but now the growth rate has increased significantly (from 1.0 to 2.0 per hour). We have to constantly drain the water. Dealing with the problem, I assume two main reasons: the make-up valve and the heat exchanger. I excluded the feed tap from possible problems

      To check the system, it is this tap that must be closed. Set the system pressure to 1.5 bar. Open this tap. Then open the feed hot water and close it again. In the morning, see what happened.

      What kind of malfunction could occur in the Nova wall-mounted boiler? Florida Vela Compact CTN 24 AF. Yesterday, when I was next to him, I heard an extraneous sound, similar to the murmur of water. It came from the expansion tank. After checking it, I found out that the tank was full of water. My original tank was disconnected and a new external one was installed. The device had to be turned off.

      Please advise what should I do next?

      There should be water in the expansion tank. Does its gurgling confuse you? Check the entire system for air, and also check the RB separately (check it in an empty state; no drops of water should appear from the nipple). During operation wall-mounted boiler Nova Florida Vela Compact, recently I have to constantly add water to it, since there is a constant drop in pressure in the system. I started looking

      possible reason

      and discovered that around the valve (which is located next to the 6CIRCOLA19 pump) there is a lot of dirt (outwardly similar to scale). Maybe someone had a similar problem? Tell me what to do?

      You have a problem with the air vent. Either disassemble and clean or replace with a new one.

      Florida Vela 24 CTFS broke down. It was still working this morning and was in perfect working order. In the afternoon, strange glitches appeared. The unit turns on, ignites a flame, and immediately extinguishes it, then ignites again. And so on several times. And then it gets blocked. From the indication: the lower left red LED is on. The boiler is connected via an uninterruptible power supply with a normal sine wave. I don't have a ground connection. There was a one-time blackout during the day, but it lasted no more than a second. I didn’t attach much importance to this, since this is a constant phenomenon in our country. Tell me where to look for the cause of the breakdown?

      Check the entire heating system for leaks.

      I bought a Nova Florida Vela Compact 24. I installed and connected it myself.

      For some reason the device does not light up. Ignition is in progress, you can see a flash, but the boiler goes out. How to fix it?

      Most likely you have no flame control. Such symptoms can be observed in two cases: The wire to the ionization sensor is not connected or broken. When connecting, you mixed up zero and phase. Accordingly, there is no current, and there is no ignition. We also advise you to check the voltage in the network itself; there was probably some kind of surge and the resistor located on the control board could have burned out. Also check the fuse on the same board.

      Unstable operation of the circulation pump on the Nova Florida boiler. It constantly turns on and off. Is it possible to somehow make its operation more stable, for example, by installing a thermal relay?

      The control board is entirely responsible for the operation of this pump. You can add a thermostat to control the room temperature. Installing it and setting up the automatic operation of the device may affect the operation of the pump.

      The gas wall-mounted boiler Nova Florida Pictor dual model CTFS 24 began to work in some jerks. It lights up, runs for a couple of seconds and goes out.

      Then it turns on again. And this happens during the entire heating of the water.

      Then 4 minutes pause. And heating again. Changing winter-summer modes does not change anything (problems with both the heating system and the hot water supply).

      Perhaps the device does not have enough gas, or the processor may be malfunctioning.

      The Nova Florida vela compact CTFS24 Af boiler does not turn on the ignition when the hot water tap is open. Everything is supplied to the heating circuit normally.

      What could be the reason? Change the sensor installed on the hot water pipe to the DHW.. But later I changed my mind and decided that liquefied gas from a gas tank was more convenient for me. How can I reconfigure it to my new requirements?

      A special kit for conversion to liquefied gas is available for sale. The main thing is to choose the right one for your type of device. Sometimes it is necessary to replace the board, sometimes installing a gasket under the gas valve washer. But the injectors will have to be changed in any case.

      Florida Altair boiler broke down. From the indication: the emergency light is on, indicating problems with the burner and problems with draft. The chimney was cleaned, but it never started. What else should I check?

      Check and readjust the burner.

      IN Nova operation Florida, for some reason, cannot carry out the ignition operation. The fan is running and gas is flowing normally. But the piezo ignition does not work.

      To fix it, I replaced the ceramic element, but it didn't help.

      What else can you do to fix the problem?

      If replacing the piezo element was not successful, this indicates a malfunction of the board itself. The high voltage coil could also be broken (it supplies a spark to the electrode), but it is integrated with the board.

      The Nova Florida boiler started having problems heating the heating system. It makes sounds as if it is boiling, the diode on the body blinks first green, then red. There is no heating. What happened to him?

      Your unit stopped due to an accident and became blocked. There can be many reasons for this: The heat exchanger is clogged with scale and its capacity has decreased. The pump is broken, and thus there is no circulation in the system. Three way valve problems.

      I use a Nova Florida Vela Compact 24 boiler. Recently it began to work incorrectly. In the mode of supplying water to the heating circuit there are no problems, but if you open the hot water supply, the heating turns off completely and the flame goes out. Water is supplied to the hot water supply, but is not heated. The hood fan also does not turn on. The LEDs on the unit are not active and do not show errors. When water is supplied, the LED, which usually lights up green, is also inactive. Where to look for the cause of the problem?

      Install a new NTS sensor on the DHW pipe.

      We have been using the Nova Florida Vela compact 24 boiler for five years now. There have been no problems with it. But recently water hammer appeared in the DHW outlet pipe. The heat exchanger was immediately dismantled and thoroughly cleaned (it was indeed very dirty), despite the fact that the OS circuit was quite clean. After putting everything back together, it worked. And it seems to be no problem.

      But after a couple of days I discovered that the copper hot water pipe was getting very hot (it is located between the flow sensor and the heat exchanger). Moreover, the overheating was so strong that the temperature damaged: the plastic filter and the flow limiter located inside the flow sensor. The melted parts were replaced and the heat exchanger was washed again. Now another problem has appeared. If the heating system and hot water supply are operating, there is strong vibration at the hot water outlet. If you turn off the water supply, the vibration disappears. And also overheating

      copper tube

      it remained as it was (though it became a little smaller). Even when the DHW is operating, the device produces an unstable water temperature, and sometimes it simply turns off (overheating).

      Very similar to obstruction of the heat exchanger. Could the flush not have gotten all the dirt out of it?

      By design, the heat exchanger has 20 autonomous channels.

      There was such a malfunction. After the boiler stood switched off for about three months, it stopped igniting.

      The water pressure and supply are normal, the green light is on. And he himself is blocked.

      If this only happens when you turn on the heating system, then the problem is in the corresponding HTC sensor. But in this case the pump must work. If there is a problem with the hot water supply, then the flow sensor is broken.

      The Nova Florida gas boiler began to operate strangely. The temperature in it was no longer regulated. And now the automatic start has stopped working (if it turned off). When started manually, the device works. How to explain this?

      In your case, system diagnostics and inspection of the device are required to obtain the correct answer. Perhaps the device configures itself this way, then the solution would be to adjust the automation. This check must be carried out at each stage of work; only such an algorithm will help identify the problem.

      We had a major power surge. After this, an inspection of the Nova Florida boiler revealed that several parts had burned out and the fuse had also tripped. We re-soldered the board, but now it stops working within a minute or a minute and a half after it started working. What can be done?

      Just buy a new board.

      I was told that it is harmful to turn off the boiler in the summer. It is better to leave it running and maintain the temperature in the heating system at 5-8C.

      Is it so?

      The equipment must either be turned off completely, or run in the modes provided by the manufacturer. A significant decrease in water temperature can cause the device to go into condensation mode. When operating under such conditions, too much condensation forms and excessive fuel consumption occurs. This is very harmful. You clog the firebox and nozzles with soot and greatly reduce the service life of the device.

      Can you please tell me what pressure is required to be kept in the expansion tank?

      I can’t understand the reason for the breakdown of the Nova Florida 24 boiler. The hood is constantly on. It is locked and the second light on it lights up red. There is no hot water supply and the heating is not active either. What to do?

      Your coolant is heating up too much.

      The Nova Florida Vela Compact gas wall-mounted boiler constantly has an overheating problem because the water in it boils. The system and heat exchanger are clean, recently washed. What else could be the problem?

      Check the circulation pump. If its noise is higher than usual, then the impeller may break, which is why it does not supply water. Also check whether your pump has enough power to power all the radiators in the heating system.

      The unit constantly stops due to overheating. The STB button helps clear the error and start the device working again. Until the next shutdown.

      There is no dependence. How to fix?

      The main reason is the burner is not adjusted. Its adjustment once a year is strictly necessary. Since during operation, the fan bearings wear out, and gas valves and other parts also wear out. It is also necessary to adjust the burner for possibly changed operating conditions.

      I need to inspect the boiler and also reconfigure it to work with natural gas. And recently our water pipe burst. How to proceed?

      To carry out such a transfer, you will need a special kit, plus new injectors. Also repair the device and check the tightness of the entire system.

      Operation of the Nova Florida Vela Compact boiler

      Inclusion

      The following procedures should only be carried out after the Nova Florida Vela Compact boiler has been installed, tested and certified by a qualified commissioner.

      Open the gas shut-off valve.

      Apply power to the unit (the LED will turn green).

      Select the boiler operating mode using the regulator.

      Use the regulator to set the desired coolant temperature in the heating circuit.

      Set the DHW temperature using the regulator.

      If you have a room thermostat, set it to the desired temperature in the room.

      When requested by the heating system, the LED will light up green. When the flame appears, the LED will turn yellow.

      When turning on the boiler after a long period of inactivity, especially if it runs on liquefied gas, starting the boiler may be difficult.

      In this case, before starting the boiler, turn on some other gas appliance (for example, a stove, oven, etc.). Even after such actions, the device may be difficult to start and may lock up once or twice. Unlock by turning the knob to position for a few seconds.

      Operation of Nova Florida Vela Compact boilers

      To prevent too frequent switching on and off in heating mode, the boiler maintains a four-minute pause between switching on.

      However, if the temperature in the heating system drops below 40°C, the pause between starts will be canceled and the device will turn on as needed.

      The boiler electronics always give priority to domestic hot water over heating.

      The temperature of hot sanitary water can be set between 35°C and 58°C.

      The coolant temperature in the heating system can be set in the range from 35°C to 78°C.

      The Nova Florida Vela Compact boiler is equipped with a hot sanitary water flow limiter, which allows you to get a maximum of 10 liters per minute.

      Hot water performance depends on the thermal power and the temperature difference at which the device heats the water.

      The device is equipped with an anti-freeze protection system, which is disabled in boiler standby mode.

      When the temperature sensor in the heating circuit registers a temperature of 5°C, the device turns on at minimum power and operates for 15 minutes or until the temperature rises to 30°C. When it turns off, the pump still continues to work.

      The anti-freeze function only protects the unit and not any other components of the heating system.

      Protection of the heating system can be ensured using a room thermostat, but do not forget that when setting the boiler to standby mode room thermostat turns off.

      The heating system can be effectively protected from freezing by using special antifreeze products suitable for heating systems With different types structural metals. Do not use automotive antifreeze and periodically check the effectiveness of the product.

      If the unit is idle but connected to the mains, the pump is turned on for 30 seconds every 24 hours to prevent jamming.

      Boiler blocking Nova Florida Vela Compact

      When abnormal conditions are created during the operation of the Nova Florida Vela Compact boiler, it is automatically blocked.

      Depending on the reason for blocking, proceed as described below.

      Burner lock

      When the burner is blocked, LED 2 (Fig. 1) lights up red.

      If this happens, proceed as follows:

      Check if it is open gas valve and whether there is gas in the line (by turning on the stove, for example).

      After making sure that gas is flowing, unblock the burner by turning the regulator to position for a few seconds. If the boiler does not turn on and locks out again on the third attempt, contact a qualified technician.

      If the burner locks frequently, indicating a permanently recurring fault, you should contact Service center for maintenance.

      Overheat lockout

      When overheating occurs in the heating system, the LED indicator flashes red.

      Lock when insufficient pressure in system

      If the Nova Florida Vela Compact boiler is blocked due to activation of the pressure switch, the LED indicator flashes yellow.

      Feed the heating system through the feed tap located at the bottom next to the hydraulic connections.

      The pressure in the heating system (when cold) should be 1 - 1.3 bar.

      To restore pressure in the heating system, proceed as follows:

      Open the system feed tap by rotating it counterclockwise and keep it open until the pressure gauge shows a pressure of 1-1.3 bar.

      Close the system feed tap by turning it clockwise.

      If the boiler is blocked frequently for this reason, this indicates a problem in the heating system.

      When the system has been recharged, carefully and thoroughly close the recharge valve. If the make-up valve is not closed completely, the pressure in the heating system may increase, which will lead to the boiler’s safety valve being activated and possible water splashing out of it.

      Blocking in the event of disturbances in the chimney/air supply system

      If conditions arise that cause abnormal operation of the chimney or air supply, the boiler is blocked.

      If the boiler is blocked due to problems in the chimney/air supply system, the LED indicator lights up yellow.

      Blocking in case of failure of temperature sensors

      If the device is blocked due to malfunctions of the temperature sensors, the LED indicator flashes as follows:

      Yellow/red for heating circuit temperature sensor;

      Red/green for DHW temperature sensor.

      Adjusting the maximum power

      Check the gas inlet pressure value;

      Remove the plastic cap located on the modulator bobbin, which protects the pressure regulator adjusting screws;

      Connect a micromanometer to the IN fitting to check the pressure at the inlet of the gas valve or to the OUT fitting to check the pressure on the burner;

      Turn the regulator on the control panel clockwise all the way and open one or two hot water taps so that the Nova Florida Vela Compact boiler operates at maximum power;

      To INCREASE the pressure on the burner, rotate the brass nut clockwise and to DECREASE the pressure, rotate it counterclockwise.

      When working on liquefied gas, tighten the brass nut clockwise until it stops.

      Rice. 7 – Gas valve adjustment

      Minimum power adjustment

      Remove the connector from the regulator reel);

      Turn on the burner and check whether the minimum pressure corresponds to the set value;

      Using a 10mm wrench, hold the nut in a fixed position and rotate the plastic screw clockwise to increase pressure and counterclockwise to decrease pressure.

      Place the connector on the modulator bobbin.

      Final operations

      Turn on the boiler and check that the burner ignites correctly and quietly;

      Check the maximum and minimum pressure on the gas valve again;

      Adjust it if necessary;

      Replace the protective plastic cap;

      Close the gas pressure measuring points;

      Check for gas leaks.

      Things to check:

      General condition of the device;

      Tightness gas system boiler and gas supply line to the boiler;

      Gas pressure at the inlet to the apparatus;

      Minimum and maximum pressure on the burner;
